Reader Profile Repost

Earlier in the year I used Photoshop to create the reader profile for my magazine. It shows my ideal primary target audience and contains the interests and likes. On the bottom two boxes I've included statistics of my target audience including their gender and ages, along with this will show advertisers what my target audience likes and therefore what will be advertised.

Evaluation: Question One - Answer (Part 3 - Double Page Spread)

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

To create my Double Page Spread I based it on my style model, a billboard double page spread, even though there are differences there are some similarities.

I believe you are able to see a house style throughout all three parts to my magazine, the same colour scheme is used as is the same font.

Evaluation: Question One - Answer (Part 1 - Cover Page)

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

To create my magazine I based it on a real product that is the same to my genre of pop. I wanted to aim for a teen/younger adult market that was interested in the lifestyle of their favourite acts. I chose the magazine Billboard. I started work on my magazine cover and chose the following to base the style of my work on.

Photos I Didn't Use

I took a number of photos to use for my final piece, these are a selection of photos I didn't use and why I didn't.

I didn't use this photo because it is out of focus, but also because the model isn't looking at the camera. Also the top of the model's left hand is out of shot.

I didn't use this photo because when looking back at them on the computer I didn't like the idea of what the model is doing, I also didn't use the photo because the lighting on the image is bad, leaving a green tint on the model.

I didn't use this photo on my work because once again the image is slightly blurred, it also looks like the model is talking rather than posing.
